Work is nearing completion on the new footbridge and lift at West Byfleet station. The work has taken much longer than expected. While it doesn’t do to anticipate trouble, the big question for many users and residents is, how long will the local youths take to vandalise it?
Footnote: The new footbridge finally opened in the second week of May 2009. Trouble was, the pigeons had got there first, big time!
